    Bandhan Bank unveils its sonic identity on the occasion of the Bank’s eighth-anniversary celebration. This sonic identity, ‘Call of Bandhan’, has been composed by music composer, Amit Trivedi.

     

    This musical piece is more than just a tune; it is a melody representative of what Bandhan Bank stands for – empowerment, freedom, inclusivity and warmth. In a world where multiple media with various sensory cues help build recall, Bandhan Bank has added a sonic identity to its brand assets to remind audiences of the brand.

     

    Apurva Sircar, Head – Marketing, Bandhan Bank, said: “Music has the power to evoke emotions without words. We live in a world where there is an overload of content and brands need to appeal to the audiences quickly by engaging several senses. The ‘Call of Bandhan’ has been composed keeping this objective in mind. We are deep-rooted in India and Indian culture, yet are a modern bank for all.   • Bandhan Bank unveils new brand campaign

    Bandhan Bank, headquartered in Kolkata, launches its integrated marketing campaign featuring the Bank’s brand ambassador Sourav Ganguly. The ‘Jahaan Bandhan, Wahaan Trust’ campaign emphasises the ‘trust’ that the brand has been able to earn in a span of seven years as a Bank and over the last two decades in the various avatars prior to the Bank.

     

    The campaign was conceived by Leo Burnett Orchard.

    Apurva Sircar, Head – Marketing, Bandhan Bank, said: “Bandhan Bank, in the last seven years, has established its presence in 34 states and union territories, has more than 2.77 crore customers and its book size is nearly Rs.2 lakh crore. This has been possible due to the trust of stakeholders that the Bank has been able to secure. Dada’s (Ganguly’s) life has been witnessed by one and all. While both Dada and Bandhan have origins in West Bengal, both have not let that define them and have established themselves as trusted names across the country and the world, thereby winning the trust of millions. Our campaign draws inspiration from this similar journey of both brands.”

  • Madison Media strengthens its Kolkata operations

    Madison Media announced last Thursday that it has strengthened its Kolkata operations. Apart from her ongoing duties in Mumbai, Vandana Ramkrishna, Vice President, will also oversee the Kolkata office. Her key role for Kolkata will be to focus on strategy, digital, business development and ensuring access to Madison World practices of Trading, Analytics, Activation, Retail, OOH, Sports and Content.

     

    In Kolkata, the agency has clients like Bandhan Bank, Joy Personal Care and Ganesh grains, amongst others. With this new role, Ramkrishna will directly report to Partner and Group CEO Madison Media & OOH, Vikram Sakhuja.

     

    Speaking about her role in the Kolkata operations, Sakhuja said: “Vandana is one of our strongest Business leaders and I am delighted to give her the additional charge of Kolkata office as we make plans to strengthen our presence in the East.”

    Ogilvy Kolkata has created two films for Bandhan Bank’s home and business loans. Through the two TVCs, Bandhan Bank intends to encourage consumers to follow their dreams and take a step towards improving their lives.

  • Madison Media wins Bandhan Bank account

     

     

    Madison Media announced that it has won back the assignment of media planning and buying media space for Bandhan Bank.

     

    It may be recalled that Madison Media had launched the bank in August 2015 with a high decibel TV, print and outdoor campaign.

     

    Commenting on this development, Vikram Sakhuja, Partner & Group CEO Madison Media and OOH, said: “We are delighted to partner with Bandhan Bank once again and are looking forward to achieving greater milestones for the bank in the years to come.”
