  • Ogilvy’s Instagram tease for Bajaj Pulsar

    Bajaj Pulsar prepared to add two new bikes to its roster – the P250 Brooklyn Black and N160 Brooklyn Black – with the emulation of an ‘eclipse’ across its Instagram page. For an entire week, Pulsar’s Instagram feed showcased a moon with phases of an actual eclipse. Amidst the shadow, a silhouette of a bike emerged, enticing viewers about a likely launch, soon to be revealed.

     

    Notes a communique: “With each passing day the eclipse phased closer to completion, unveiling a clearer glimpse of the upcoming mystery bike. For the next two days, the audiences were kept eagerly waiting for the moon to be entirely eclipsed. Finally, after a week-long wait, the viewers were treated to the all-new N160  Brooklyn Black on June 22 and then the P250  Brooklyn Black on June 24.”

     

  • Bajaj Pulsar celebrates 18 successful years in new ad

    Bajaj Auto celebrates the 18th anniversary of its brand Pulsar with the launch of an integrated campaign. The campaign showcases journey of a Pulsar customer who is obsessed with maximising thrilling moments in his life, while clearly announcing the milestone for the brand.

     

    Commenting on the occasion, Narayan Sundararaman, Vice President (Marketing) – Motorcycles, said: “It’s a proud moment for Bajaj Auto to see one of our most successful brands turn Eighteen. The Pulsar range has received many accolades over the years and is probably the most celebrated bike in Indian Automobile history. The new campaign showcases the thrill and adventure that every Pulsar rider craves for. All iconic brands evolve with times and so will Pulsar, as we continue to enthral the motorcycle enthusiasts all over the world.”

     

    Commenting on the campaign Sukesh Nayak, Chief Creative Officer, Ogilvy India, added: “With Pulsar turning 18, we decided to tell the story of a Pulsar rider, from the time he is born. The film tracks the journey of a boy that is probably the story of almost each one of us. From the time we learn to walk, how we start seeking thrills every single day.  The naughty kid who can’t wait to turn eighteen so he can get his license and his hands on the ultimate thrill machine, the Pulsar.   • Pulsar Facebook fans cross 1 million

    Sports motorcycle Bajaj Pulsar has recently crossed the one-million-fan mark on Facebook.

     

    Commenting on the accomplishment, Sanjay Saraswat, Vice-President (Marketing), Bajaj Auto Ltd, said, “Bajaj Auto considers its Facebook fan page reaching a million mark as a testimony to the sporty evolution that it has brought in the country. Much in line with the brand’s DNA, it created a community of bikers and biking enthusiasts. Over the social media these biking enthusiasts found the Facebook page a platform to share their videos, pictures, stories and travelogues. Overtime, this became a community of people who spoke a similar language. This is a true testament to the kind of brand power that we have with us in Brand Pulsar.”
