  • Concept PR bags mandate for Stellantis automaker

    Stellantis, a leading global automaker and mobility provider, has announced the appointment of Concept Public Relations as its PR agency in India for 2022. The agency will consult and execute Stellantis group communication in India along with JEEP and Citroën communication mandates. The mandate includes strategic consultation, planning, media relations, issues and crisis management, and integrated campaign development for the group and both brands.

  • Concept appoints Andrew Fernandes to head Delhi branch

    Concept PR has appointed Andrew Fernandes as head of Delhi branch and national business development with an additional responsibility of leading the real estate and infrastructure portfolio.

  • Concept PR bags Gold at PR World Awards

    Concept PR has bagged a Gold under the PR Agency Achievement of the Year category at the 7th Annual PR World Awards for its social communication campaign #Save Parsik Hill, executed on behalf of Public Relations Council of India (PRCI).

     

    The ‘Save Parsik Hill’ campaign focused on the need to stop check plundering of the hills under the guise of quarrying and protects the bio-diversity of the area. The hills have been the major source of stones for the construction industry in Mumbai Metropolitan Region for over four decades and they have ravaged by blasting and exploiting much beyond the officially allotted areas.

     

    “The PR World Award is recognition of a novel Social Communication Campaign initiated by Concept PR to focus on issues of community interest,” said Ashish Jalan, CEO and director of Concept PR. “It also stands testimony to the consultancy’s professional commitment, dedication and team work. We are happy to have executed the Parsik Hill campaign on behalf of not-for-profit PRCI,” he said.

     

    Added B N Kumar, Executive Director – Concept PR: “We launched a well-orchestrated social communication campaign on the Environment Day in association with the Mumbai Press Club last year… The basic idea was to bring into sharp focus the environmental damage being done by unchecked quarrying. The campaign involved Twitter, Facebook posts and an online petition to the Chief Minister to stop further quarrying of the Hills.”

     

     

  • Concept PR strengthens leadership team with new hires

    Concept PR has announced the appointment of two senior communication professionals –financial journalist Apurv Gupta and lifestyle PR specialist Charu Benegal.

     

    While Gupta will head the IPO PR vertical, Benegal has been appointed to lead the Lifestyle & Entertainment practice.Prior to joining Concept PR, Benegal worked as India Practice Chair (IPC), Brand and Consumer Practice for WPP’s Genesis Burson Marsteller.

  • Concept PR bags multiple new biz wins

    Concept PR has deployed a hub-and-spoke model for exponential growth across South India.  “We believe that the Indian economy is on an upswing and the growth going forward would be exponential. South India offers excellent opportunities for communication in different verticals such as IT, ITES, Bio-technology, startups, pharma and real estate and infrastructure.     The consultancy has signed new clients like Bengaluru-based Happay, a business expense management solution company, and Book My Time, a car service and sales aggregator, Hyderabad-base, Granules India Ltd, a pharmaceutical compound manufacturer, and Sathguru Management Consultants amongst others. Concept PR has also won mandate from VBHC – Value Homes Private Limited which has projects across Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai and Delhi-NCR.

    In a rapid growth mode, public consultancy Concept PR has appointed senior professionals in key positions – Ziegler Colaco as its Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and Tina Pawar as Head of BFSI vertical.

    With an experience of 23 years, Ziegler Colaco has donned Servicing, Planning and Creative hats.

     

    An MBA in Marketing from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Ziegler began his career in Tata Press as a Management Trainee. He began his advertising career at Lintas, and moved on to Mode and iContract.

     

    His belief in technology being a Computer Science graduate saw him join Indbazaar.com during the dotcom boom. The subsequent bust did not diminish his belief in technology saw him as an Instructional Design professional at Lionbridge, Learningmate and Aptara. Before joining Concept PR, he was Vice-President – Advertising Services at Publicis Beehive Communications.

     

    Tina has and over a decade’s experience driving brand and corporate communication programmes for leading multi-national organizations. She was previously with the Everstone Group as their head of Corporate Communications, and prior to that with IIFL and Reliance Capital. With her business acumen and knowledge of brands, Tina combines her experience in corporate communications and sound media relations to produce the desired output.

  • Concept PR bags Agency Excellence Award

    Concept PR has been awarded the Agency Excellence award at the 9th Global Communication Association’s (GCA) conference held at Bengaluru over the week-end. Concept PR was the sole agency to be awarded at the conference.

     

    Union Minister for Law and Justice Mr D. V. Sadananda Gowda presented the A P Chowdappa Memorial Award for Excellence in Communication in Agency Sector at the two-day GCA Conference that concluded on January 09, 2015, and attended by about 200 delegates from across the world, including 20 from five continents.

     

    Acknowledging the award, B N Kumar (BNK), Executive Director of Concept PR, said: “I would like to dedicate the award to Team Concept, pan-India. We thank all our clients for giving us an opportunity to work with them and achieve their communication goals.”
