    Establishing itself as the ‘Fuel for Disruption’, Doritos has launched its latest digital campaign #BlameItOnCrunch. With this campaign, the brand has created a series asking people to capture moments of disruption that they see around themselves everyday and #BlameItOnCrunch of Doritos.

     

    Speaking on the campaign, Dilen Gandhi, Senior Director and Category Head- Foods, PepsiCo India said: “#BlameItOnCrunch is a simple idea that reflects the product proposition of Doritos in the brand’s own style and humour. The intense flavour and tooth-rattling crunch resonated seamlessly with the Doritians who shared their moments of disruption caused by the power of a Doritos crunch. Consumers have appreciated the campaign as more than 95% influencers have posted organically showcasing various creative renditions and having fun while doing so.”

     

    Added Amandeep Singh, Business Director, VMLY&R, shedding light on the sheer simplicity yet boldness of the campaign:  “VMLY&R is a huge believer in the KISS principle- Keep it simple & silly. We wanted to establish the BOLD tonality that Doritos carries internationally with its crunch in the Indian market as well, so our creatives took the simplest route possible- every distortion you see around yourself is the crunch effect, so simply #BlameItOnCrunch”.

     

     

  • Swaraj Tractors dedicate latest campaign to Indian farmers

    VMLY&R India has conceptualised a film dedicated to Indian farmers for Swaraj Tractors. The campaign urges people to take a moment to acknowledge the contribution of farmers in making India a great nation that it is today.

     

    Said Amandeep Singh- Business Director, VMLY&R India: “While celebrating this day in the most exciting way possible, how often do one realise that there is an entire community for whom Independence Day is just another day, as they are busy toiling hard for something, which is arguably the most important thing for our survival – growing food for us! This film shows the contrast in the ways of celebration of a common man and a farmer. Just that, a farmer’s celebration and hard work for nation is not for one day, it’s for his entire lifetime.”

     

     

  • VML bolsters senior team with new appointments

    VML has announced the appointment of two senior resources in its team. Achal Deoda has been appointed Business Director of VML Mumbai and Amandeep Singh as Business Director for VML New Delhi. Both will report to Udit Bhambri, Business Head, VML India.

     

    Said Deoda on his new assignment at VML: “VML India has been successful in helping brands envisage digital transformation strategy and continues to deliver expertise across building large Enterprise solutions across digital, Social Media and Digital Marketing, TVC style digital video content and digital strategy consulting. My vision is to continue to bring VML’s global expertise across digital and help Indian brands lead their respective categories with stronger and sustainable digital ecosystems.”
