  • Honda Motorcycle & Scooter unveils its new campaign

    Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has unveiled its new campaign for its scooter Activa, titled ‘Scooter Bole Toh Activa’. Conceptualised by Hakuhodo Wyng (a unit of Hakuhodo International India), an advertising and marketing solutions company, the campaign comprises a song with words from regional languages.

     

    Said Shobhit Mathur, Managing Partner and Creative Head, Hakuhodo Wyng: “Conceptualising this campaign was a unique experience – the creative idea was hidden in the brief itself, but to dig it up and to shape it into a full-fledged campaign was a challenge our team took up successfully. HMSI wanted to show how Activa has been such an integral part of Indian lives that it has become synonymous with the word, ‘Scooter’. So we gave the campaign a very Indian feel – diverse lifestyle yet similar values, and common love for Activa!”

     

  • Honda Activa campaign celebrates 20 years of legacy

    Marking the 20th anniversary of its flagship product – Activa, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India launched a special campaign introducing the Activa 6G 20th Anniversary Limited Edition.

     

    Speaking on the campaign,  Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Director – Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India said: “We are extremely happy and proud as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of Activa. It is a celebration time for us and the extended family of more than 2 crore satisfied customers who have made Activa a part of their daily lives. The campaign presents the emotional connection between our customers and their beloved Activa which gets a makeover to celebrate this special occasion. The distinctive gold embossed Activa logo of the 20th anniversary edition is the highlight and makes it worthy of a collector’s must have!”

     

    This campaign was conceptualised by Dentsu One. Said Titus Upputuru, National Creative Director, Dentsu One: “I am grateful for the opportunity to work on this special campaign. Twenty years is a long journey and Activa is so special. ‘Zindagi do pahiyon se chalti hai’…and we wanted to celebrate this journey of two decades with a special story that not only reflects on the beautiful past but shows the promise of a special future. We thought it would be great to see the journey through the eyes of the husband even as he recreates couple’s very first interaction inside the college library. It was good fun bringing the playful script to life.”

     

     

  • ‘Love is Growing’ for Honda as it unveils campaign for Activa 5G

    Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has introduced the latest integrated ad campaign titled ‘Love is growing’ for Activa 5G.

     

    Said Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India: “As the No 1 selling two-wheeler of India, Activa is no longer just a mobility solution but a cherished part of life for more than 18 million Indian families and youth. Activa has transformed to meet the evolving needs of every generation over the years. The new fifth generation Activa 5G while staying true to its legacy of trust, innovation, quality, reliability and convenience; looks and rides completely different giving young India all the more reason to fall in love with it. The new ‘Love is Growing’ campaign celebrates that not only is the Love for Activa is growing but love is growing in real life too.”

     

    Added Titus Upputuru, National Creative Director, Dentsu One: “Activa is a household name in India. It has seen many generations. As we were briefed about the 5th generation model of this very popular brand, we thought let’s showcase how this love is growing. The film is a little chapter from this love story, which occurs in a University, between one of the students and the professor’s daughter. It was great working with Boman Irani. Taapsee adds a new flavour to the brand. We hope the film builds on the love that the brand already enjoys across the nation.”

     

     

  • Honda speaks to the nextgen populace to promote Activa 4G

    Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has rolled out its latest film for its 4th Gen upgrade of Activa.  Developed by Dentsu One, a Dentsu Aegis Network Company, the TVC was launched with the world television premiere of Jolly LLB 2 and has started running on air across popular channels from May 14,’17.

     

    The ‘Nayi Generation Hai’ campaign reinforces the top of mind recall for Honda’s fourth generation Activa both emotionally and rationally. The idea is to showcase how Activa 4G is playing an active role in the slice of life of India’s new generation. India’s psychographics is fast evolving and everyone in this new India is exploring something new. Be it the trending youth, WhatsApp-ing parents or jogging grandparents. The TVC is all about how India’s Nayi Generation is doing things differently and the new Activa 4G is their ride of choice.

  • ‘Arey wah, Activah…’ croons HMSI in new TVC for scooter

    Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) has aired its latest campaign for its latest Activa 3G. The new ad campaign for Activa 3G recreates the sense of pride, joy and community amongst customers. The TVC has been created by Dentsu Marcom and is running on air across channels. The new TVC showcases the joy and pride of owning the scooter brand and gain new customers with Activa 3G through its new and fresh design along with technological excellence.

     

    The objective is to further strengthen the leadership stance for brand Activa, showcasing the joy and ride of owning the country’s No.1 scooter brand and gain new customers with Activa 3G.On the other hand, Activa 3G offers a new and fresh design along with technological excellence.

     

    To further reinforce leadership, Honda has introduced the Activa 3G (Activa 110cc with a new look) for customers looking for a new and fresh design along with technological excellence. The target group for Activa 3G is fairly spread over a broad range of age group; ranging from young professionals/businessmen, residing in metros and other major cities.

     

    The film starts with the shot where local artists are singing in a train passing through picturesque hills. The protagonist aka lead singer, sings along the tunes of the retro classic ‘Cheel cheel chillaake… arey wah wah wah’ song, until suddenly one of the singers spots the new Activa passing by. The protagonist automatically bursts out singing ‘Activah Vaah Vaah’ instead. Co-passengers in the train also look out and see the new Activa and join the song as the train and the scooter travel together until the end when they bid adieu while crossing another Activa with a couple riding and waving with joy.
