  • ABP News unlocks new content innovation

    On June 12 midnight, as the Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ was released on Prime Video, ABP Spotlight created a show with anchor Shrivardhan ‘Sansani’ Trivedi who interviewed ‘animated’ renditions of lead characters of the film.

  • ABP Ganga celebrates spirit of womanhood with ‘Naari’

    ABP Ganga has launched an initiative to celebrate the spirit of womanhood through a talk-show titled ‘Naari’. The Naari initiative is travelling across nine cities of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand which include Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Agra, Meerut, Gorakhpur, Dehradun, and Haldwani, to connect with women who have created a positive impact in society through their relentless efforts.

     

    The initiative will culminate in an awards event around International Women’s Day.

  • ABP News unveils Season 2 of ‘Pradhanmantri’

    ABP News has unveiled the second season of its show, Pradhanmantri. The show delves into the stories and intricacies of contemporary India and the season will premiere on January 25, 2020. The show will be hosted by producer and actor, Shekhar Kapur.

  • ABP News Network rejigs digital leadership

    ABP News Network’s digital platform, ABP Live, has restructured its workforce. The platform operates eight web portals in six different languages.

     

    Vijay Jung Thapa will be Chief Digital Officer. Ramakrishnan Laxman will be Digital Media Head and Allen Sharma will be the new Head – Digital Revenues. In this role, he will be accountable for direct sales, digital revenues, programmatic monetisation and brand solution monetization. Also Tushar Banerjee has been appointed Head- Digital Content Strategy.

  • ABP News appoints Mona Jain as Chief Revenue Officer

    ABP News Network has appointed senior media professional Mona Jain as the company’s Chief Revenue Officer. Jain will be responsible for the organisation’s revenue efforts across ANN channels, live events and digital platforms. Jain has spent nearly 30 years in media, marketing and promotions, the last six years have been in Zee Entertainment as Executive Vice President, AD Sales.

  • ABP News restructures newsroom top deck

    Leading news channel ABP News has restructured its editorial department.

     

    Rajnish Ahuja will be Senior Vice President, News and Programming, Sanjay Bragta as Vice President, News Gathering, Arun Nautiyal as Vice President, News Production, Sumit Awasthi as Vice President, Planning and Special Coverage, Vibha Kaul Bhatt as Associate Vice President, Programme Production and Anju Juneja will be Associate Vice President, Special Projects.

     

    Also, a new role of Associate Vice President, Production and Operations will be introduced to work in partnership with newsroom and technology teams. Nitin Sukhija will be heading the same.
